“Maelstrom”

Unicorn Medallion

Maelstrom is my first original sculpture release in white resin! He is 11 cm tall (approximately 4.5 inches).

Maelstrom has been summoned into battle by magic, which is why he is twisting and rearing, wide eyed. He was affectionately known as “Carclop” during the sculpting process after a half-hearted search for suggested unicorn names on a fantasy name generator returned this as its best result—I thought it too amusing to let go!

Maelstrom is an open release for the month of July. After that, other than a small number of copies kept aside for show donations, his edition will be closed. Photos of Maelstrom can be found below. Unless stated otherwise, finishwork is also mine.
