“Willow and Wisp”

Exmoor Pony Foals

Willow and Wisp are my first 3D sculpt releases released in September/October 2022 in both classic and micro scales.

Willow was originally sculpted as the prize model for the British Model Equine Championship Show (BMECS) in 2022. However, the version released for sale is an improved and reworked version of the model that was available at the show. Willow v2.0 has had some slight changes made to proportions, particularly in her head and fits into her base more sturdily with just one leg pegged. If you find a Willow in the wild with both back legs pegged, it’s the BMECS version, not the officially released one! Willow 2.0 also has minor improvements made to leg muscling, fur and general details.

Willow was sculpted in a rearing pose to represent a playful exmoor pony, but she could pass as any number of pony breeds! She comes with a base with sculpted on rocks and soil texture that is ready for painting, flocking and static grass. Originally intended as a stand-alone sculpt, a friend pointed out to me how cute the names Willow and Wisp would work together as a pair and thus the idea of Wisp was born! Wisp was sculpted as her playmate and stands on three legs.

Micro Willow and Wisp are both open editions. Classic Willow and Wisp are both single mold editions.
