“Jul”

Norwegian Fjord Stallion

Jul is my second major sculpt release, released in December 2022 in both micro and venti scale. He has been sculpted from references of young stallions first accepted to stud so is slightly more svelte and muscular than many fjords out there!

Jul is the first in a series of planned releases on the theme of the festivals of the Wheel of the Year. His festival is Yule (Jul is Norwegian for Yule!) so he comes ready for a Christmas party with Santa hat, wreath and festive bow in his tail.

Jul comes in two versions: Christmas Jul and non-Christmas Jul (as I recognise not everybody wants a festive model!). The micro editions are 3D printed on my 8K printer at home in their two different versions. They are 45 mm in length (approximately 1.75”). Non Christmas micro Jul is an open edition; Christmas micro Jul will close in the New Year, though he will likely make a reappearance at future Christmasses!

Venti Jul is still undergoing final preparations but the plan is for him to be cast in white resin and to be supplied as the non-Christmas version as standard. Orders for the Christmas version will also come with removable 3D printed hat, wreath and tail bow.
