Presenting Corsair! Corsair is a feral breed sculpt, mostly based off of mustangs. He has been sculpted in a typical stallion pose depicting the prancy dance stallions do whilst sizing each other up before a fight. I used copious references of Pryors horses I photographed this summer! He is micro (1:64) scale and measures approximately 50mm (2”) in length. and are printed in resin at my home studio. The 3D resin I use is designed for use with 8K printers so gives excellent detail with minimal 3D artefacts. I have used an additive which gives some extra flexibility in the resin which makes these models more durable than many other 3D models of the same size but has no impact on detail or ease of prepping. However, obviously these models are small and some of the detail is very small indeed so they will still need to be handled with care!

Corsair was sculpted to be the 2023 BMECS prize model but is being released simultaneously online! He is an open edition. All photos show a bare resin print which has been cleaned (major support artefacts removed) but not prepped--the model you receive will be in the same state.

Corsair is also available in venti scale so check out the shop to see his big brother!
