Traditional Ostara
Presenting Ostara! Ostara is a lying down foal, approximately six months old, based off of warmblood references. She is small traditional/large classic in scale. She measures 14cm in length (5.5 inches) and 7cm in height (3 inches).
She is the second in a series of releases on the theme of the festivals of The Wheel of the Year. Her festival is Ostara (an old word for Easter). In this scale she is supplied as the non-pegasus version by default. If you place an order for the pegasus version, you will also receive a pair of cast resin removeable wings. Although the wings are designed to fit perfectly over the body, they do need to be secured in place as gravity will make them slip downwards slightly. In the photos, I have used a single glue dot to secure them—in my experience this is not something that damages finishwork so you should be able to have an interchangeable horse/pegasus model!
This will be a two mold run. The pegasus version will be available to order for the full duration of the run. All orders for the pegasus version will receive a “10% off” discount code on the next release in the series. This is currently planned to be “Samhain”, coming in September/October 2023. All photos show copies which have had several layers of grey primer added to show how well the detail stands up even after prepping and priming—you will receive the bare resin copy.
Please note: These models are casting well but I only have a limited number on hand. Please therefore allow 2-3 weeks from ordering before your model is ready to be shipped.
